Connecticut Broker Eugene Antosh Barred for Failure to Provide Information to FINRA

barred

According to FINRA, Eugene W. Antosh was barred from association with any FINRA member effective April 20, 2026, pursuant to FINRA Rule 9552(h), for failure to provide information or keep information current with FINRA.

FINRA Rule 9552(h) authorizes FINRA to bar a registered person who fails to comply with a regulatory obligation to provide required information or to keep registration information current. Registered persons are required to disclose and update a broad range of information, including changes in employment, customer complaints, legal proceedings, financial matters, and other events that are material to FINRA's assessment of their fitness to work in the securities industry.

When registered persons fail to provide this information, it impairs FINRA's ability to evaluate whether they remain fit to operate in a position of trust with investors, and whether investors may be at risk from their continued activities. The bar imposed under Rule 9552(h) prevents the individual from associating with any FINRA member firm in any capacity until and unless the bar is vacated.

Transparency and timely disclosure are foundational obligations for securities industry professionals. The registration and disclosure system serves a critical function: it provides investors, firms, and regulators with the information they need to make informed decisions about who they work with and how they oversee those relationships.
