Joshua Aaron Dean Barred from Securities Industry for Failure to Provide Required Information to FINRA

barred

According to FINRA, Joshua Aaron Dean (CRD #5825492) of Garland, Texas, was barred from association with any FINRA member in all capacities pursuant to FINRA Rule 9552(h) for failure to provide information or keep information current as required by FINRA.

The bar became effective on March 27, 2026, under FINRA Case #2025085186601.

FINRA Rule 9552 provides a mechanism for FINRA to take action against members and associated persons who fail to comply with requests for information necessary for regulatory oversight. Under Rule 9552(h), if an individual who has been suspended for failing to provide required information does not remedy the deficiency within the suspension period, the suspension automatically converts to a permanent bar.

The obligation to provide information to FINRA is a foundational requirement of securities industry membership. FINRA's ability to regulate the industry, protect investors, and maintain fair and transparent markets depends on its ability to gather current, accurate information from the firms and individuals it oversees. When associated persons fail to meet these basic obligations, they undermine the regulatory framework that exists to protect investors.

A permanent bar means that Dean may not work in any capacity at any FINRA member firm. Investors who worked with Dean should review their account history and contact FINRA if they have concerns about any transactions or advice they received.
