New York Broker Jesse Krapf Suspended for Failure to Provide Information to FINRA
According to FINRA, Jesse D. Krapf was suspended from association with any FINRA member effective April 20, 2026, pursuant to FINRA Rule 9552(d), for failure to provide information or keep information current with FINRA.
FINRA Rule 9552(d) gives FINRA authority to suspend registered persons who fail to provide required information or maintain current registration disclosures. The suspension prevents the individual from working in any capacity at a FINRA member firm during its pendency and is intended to compel the fulfillment of outstanding disclosure obligations.
The disclosure obligations that underpin this enforcement mechanism cover a wide range of material events: customer complaints, arbitration proceedings, legal and regulatory investigations, changes in employment, and certain financial events, among others. These disclosures collectively form the record that FINRA uses to assess registrant fitness and that investors access through BrokerCheck to evaluate the professionals they consider working with.
When registered persons in major financial centers like New York fail to maintain accurate disclosures, the consequences ripple through the investor protection framework. Investors may be exposed to individuals whose regulatory history is incomplete or inaccurate, making it difficult to make informed decisions about who to trust with their financial affairs.
Investors who have worked with Krapf or who are considering any broker relationship should use FINRA BrokerCheck to verify current registration status and review any disclosed regulatory actions. BrokerCheck is freely available at finra.org/brokercheck. Investors who have concerns about a broker's conduct may also file complaints directly with FINRA through its online complaint center.
