Vincent Jerome Camarda Suspended for Failure to Comply with FINRA Arbitration Award

suspended

According to FINRA, Vincent Jerome Camarda (CRD #2463703) of Amityville, New York, was suspended from association with any FINRA member in all capacities pursuant to FINRA Rule Series 9554 for failure to comply with an arbitration award or related settlement. The suspension became effective on March 25, 2026, under FINRA Arbitration Case #24-01085.

FINRA Rule Series 9554 provides that any person who fails to comply with an arbitration award, settlement agreement, or restitution order entered through FINRA's Dispute Resolution Services will be suspended until the obligation is satisfied. FINRA's arbitration forum is the primary mechanism through which investors resolve disputes with their brokers. When brokers refuse or fail to pay arbitration awards, they undermine the integrity and effectiveness of this investor protection system.

Arbitration is the required dispute resolution process for most securities industry disputes between investors and their brokers, as mandated by the brokerage account agreements that most investors sign. FINRA Dispute Resolution Services administers this process, which is designed to provide investors with a faster and less expensive alternative to litigation in court. When arbitrators issue an award in an investor's favor, that award is intended to compensate the investor for demonstrated harm.

A broker who fails to pay an arbitration award leaves the investor without the relief they were entitled to receive. FINRA's response — suspension from the industry — is designed to ensure that brokers face meaningful consequences for non-payment and to provide an incentive for compliance.

Investors who have won FINRA arbitration awards against a broker should understand that FINRA has tools available to help enforce compliance, including the suspension and potential bar of the non-compliant party. FINRA also maintains a Securities Helpline at 844-57-HELPS to assist investors with questions about arbitration awards and enforcement options.
